Tasting notes

It’s a subtle lemongrass and blueberry flavor with butterfly pea flower to get the blue coloring.

What’s really cool is that if you add citrus, it ‘magically’ turns purple. My little girl that loves all things unicorn and rainbows loved this. And she loved the flavor, but like most kids said it needed a little sugar.

Personally I found it a subtle, not overwhelming lemongrass with a hint of blueberry. Smooth and a hint of sweetness. Nice and relaxing for hanging out in the garden and looking at the blue moon. It’s make a nice iced too.

When to buy

I got this as a freebie to review, but you can get your own Bella Luna Blue loose-leaf tea during the blue moon, Aug 22,2021 and other blue moons. After today, the next one is in August 2023. You might want to stock up, especially if you like the idea of color transforming tea.
